Digital Control of Physical Logistics
Renaissant is the AI-powered platform that answers Who, What, When, Where, and Why for every shipment, from booking through signed delivery.
The shipping process generates a lot of questions from your customers, vendors, employees, regulators, and now your lawyers and insurance companies too. Your IT systems don’t answer them well. That’s why you live in shared spreadsheets. Renaissant ties everything together. No more shared spreadsheets. No more recreating records after the fact. Everything in one place, where you need it.
One load. One record. All the answers. Automated.

"Brokers need only ask the hard questions of the carrier and have a reasonable policy."
— Justice Brett Kavanaugh, concurring (joined by Justice Alito) · Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II, LLC
The Supreme Court just opened the door for brokers to be hit with nuclear ($10M+) or even thermonuclear ($100M+) jury verdicts in transportation cases. The Court also provided the risk management path: just ask the hard questions.
Renaissant validates the actual driver who is picking up the load, ensuring they have the proper CDL for the trip. Once you have verified the driver in advance of pick-up, risk is transferred back to the carrier. This is a reasonable policy that doesn’t interfere with your operations, and provides the risk management you now require.
The industry problem
Cargo theft losses hit $725 million in 2025, a 60% jump in one year (Verisk CargoNet), with strategic fraud from double-brokering, identity spoofing, and chameleon and ghost carriers driving the surge.
Public-safety pressure is mounting alongside it. 5,375 large trucks were involved in fatal crashes in FMCSA’s most recent full-year report. The USDOT has moved to remove 194,000 non-domiciled CDL holders from the freight market. And the Supreme Court’s unanimous ruling in Montgomery v. Caribe now extends negligent-hiring liability to brokers for the drivers behind the wheel. That responsibility is unlikely to stop with carriers and brokers. It will soon also be the responsibility of the shipper.
Until now, the industry has had two basic answers. One: analyze the carrier, which ignores the driver. Two: throw more people at the problem, which is slow, expensive, and still doesn’t validate the actual driver.
Renaissant’s Big Oil customer faced all of this. After deploying Renaissant Validate and Access, fraud attempts fell 96%, theft stopped completely, labor dropped 50%, and the rollout took under two weeks.
